The Departmental Railways Company (CFD) was founded in 1881 by Paul Mathias Zens.
First a builder and operator of secondary railways, the group then became a designer and manufacturer of rolling stock.

The group's sustainability is ensured by the flexibility of its strategy and organization.
Microtrans joined the CFD group in 2015 to strengthen the supply chain division with TMS functionalities.
The supply chain division brings together the companies Microtrans, Penta, Infflux and Rouxel Informatique. It represents a group of 70 employees.
It offers a set of functionalities for the operational Supply Chain WMS, WCS, TMS for companies with a global project.
Each company remains independent to respond to TMS, WMS or WCS projects alone.
